Battlefield 4 Thread ~ Server details in opening post ~

I think even if the patch sorts the worst I am no longer of the opinion Dice is a AAA developer. Too many newbie coder mistakes especially battle log being low res, and all the missing features like 'add to favourites' when browsing the server page shown at the beginning. As far as the main game, too many bugs that affect everyone for them to have missed it. I hope some official body is setup over the next few years that can penalise developers/publishers just like any other business would for bad practices with ofcom/trading standards. Bugs have always been around but game breaking bugs that break the game for the majority of the player base should be punishable. I don't see myself playing this as long as BF3 the maps are alright but it already feels predictable and most conquest maps the action usually only revolves around a couple of flags.

But lastly lol at the comments about hours put in. I have been watching the thread since bf3's release and its the same people who have already put several days into the game that are the ones who point out how much other stuff they do otherwise but hear they are again. A little story was I finally went on the recommended servers on here for bf3 and found that the big players on here who boasted about playing with the top players were there. Good I thought a nice hard game. Unfortunately those 'good' players stayed well away from the action either at the ceiling above their base in the chopper or miles away in a tank distance spamming. I'd rather be crap than be that 'good' that so many seem to lap up as skill.

And have no input on the features that are included to link with their game? not being sarcastic with this one but surely they have a fair bit of input and all the loading and load out screens are in game as well as on battle log? Whether they program the web code or not.

First game for a few days but I'm still getting some rubber banding. No crashes and it was generally a trouble free experience.

I was getting some sort of 'graphics pulsing blur' in game. It's hard to explain but it's like what happens to the left side of the screen as a map is loading. I'll try and get some video if it happens again.

I went 12-25 but had to use iron sights as it wouldn't let me switch to RDS in game. Still finished top 5. It's all about the points! :)

not unlocked them yet ( or at least not used them in bf4), but from bf3 I much preferred the mav. does the same thing but I like that you could deploy it and fly in into a location you are trying to get in. once ya taken that place you can then move it on to the next. not to mention being able to take out enemy equipment with it ;)

also enemies wasting stingers/javlins...what ever on trying to take it out....lol

but I suppose the tugs is much harder to spot with it's smaller profile, quite interested to try out the motion balls too... imagine that with a carbine would be pretty awesome...maybe? :p

Motion balls aren't that great, but they do the job.

I wasn't a fan of the MAV, i'm the sort of player that likes to be on the move all the time, so TUGS work for my playstyle.
