The way the sound effects and weather change on Paracel is quite something.. shame though.. because of the island layout the players cannot storm forward.. is it not just so cut shortf? snipers.. boats. around and around.. no soldiers, bloody boring

The actual wave effects are a bit weird, I've been in the middle of a wave swimming during the storm and at sections your character can stand up, its like its the ground underneath that is making the shape of a wave and forming hills etc to make the water on top do the wave effect. Can be a bit weird swimming then suddenly walking for a second or two because the ground underneath has come up high enough.
Recon, medic, couple of engineers and a support guy rock this map, get the Recon to place the radio beacon properly and the engineers working together to bring down vehicles and you can dominate on foot.

Please do stick together as a squad, it makes destroying infantry so much easier from the boat if you stay together. Had 4 guys spawn on a guy at A earlier, was a case of nom nom nom
Easy to rank up in this game compared to the previous games.
I mean BC2 i'm not even Rank 40 and i'm not even Rank 50 in BF3, but i'm not as glued to FPS games as i am with MMO's, unless i'm playing with people i'm familiar with.

I get possibly 2 hours every other night without without socialising. Stuff to do at home, work etc.
When i was younger and had less/no responsibilities and rented a flat, then i played a lot. But i also lived with my friends. So maybe that's the case for these people?
Yeh I get that. And if you're in a boat and the boat just keeps going underwater all the time like it isn't really buoyant. I could understand some splash coming over the sides, but totally submerging the boat in a relatively small wave is just silly.
I work 40 hours a week, have a girlfriend and still socialise. I've managed to get about 2-3 hours in every weeknight. Nearly level 17, but that's probably because I have played Battlefield since BC2 so I am a little rusty.
Logic dictates that you don't have much responsibility/else to do in life.
I wouldn't say everyone who is a high rank has no social life or job, some of them probably get home, try and cram in as much time as they can, not to mention people like Westie are good at the game, and there is your fast ranking.
I knew someone through a friend of mine that spent his college fees at a LAN gaming place, he was the best at Command and Conquer: Generals, but i wouldn't use my fees for a bit of gaming satisfaction when those fees are going towards my future.
For me, i cycle to and from work, so 10.6 miles altogether, i do Squats, Deadlifts, Shoulder Press, Barbell Row, Bench Press 2-3 times per week and prepare all my food, so Monday-Friday i'm tired when i get home and i have a limited amount of time to game compared to Saturday and Sunday where i'm free from work, cycling and weightlifting, plus i'm in a Guild on SW:TOR, so i'm also playing that when i can.

Well I'm only 22, and I don't have kids. And I don't work outside of 8am-6pm, mon-fri, because I don't get paid to do so.
I do have a lot of hobbies, but at the moment I would rather play Battlefield 4 as I enjoy it. Something that many people fail to take into account. Especially non-gamers when they ask "omg how can you spend so many hours playing games! What a waste of time!". And then the same people sit on Facebook posting 'im bored some1 msg me".
Yeah, I managed to get them to work last night. The issue was that the server was set to Official and not Ranked. The commands do not work when it is official, only when ranked. Not really sure of the point in the whole official/ranked thing tbh.

Haha. You get this when running and gunning. That is until the clip runs out. Then its a case of switch to pistol and prey

Excuse me? I work 48 hours a week and am nearly rank 100 because ur probably bad at the game doesn't mean everyone else is

Alright, less with the rage. I'd love to be able to do this again but i have more important things to take care of unfortunately. Currently, growing up has a detrimental effect on gaming time.
