I am not ranking up that quick (since it started, I have gone from 73-89 and my SPM has gone from about 700 to 907) but then I am only using my 25 XP boosts atm.....

Oh and I got another 200 XP boost there so now 6 in total! :D


And indeed, some great games there with mark, marty etc.!

Finding it pretty damn hard to use the boats now due to good jets + helis (i.e. tv missiles)

Also, have they reduced the splash damage/damage of 30mm rounds, seems quite a bit weaker lately...........

hmmm, might just try a repair first before uninstalling etc.

saying that the game ran pretty well for the last few hours :confused:

The [ICK] clan on TFU is completely and utterly retarded, they just would not give me any damn orders. GIVE ME ORDERS, I screamed, "shut up" was the response. Didn't even revive me! I told them that captured objects given by orders gives you more points, damn french

Joined a different squad, awesome leader and team mates, lots of points and pushed them right back. What a difference a good squad makes!
 
Handy that they introduced being able to see server ticket count into the browser, landslide after landslide after landslide...

Yeh, if a squad leader points to an objective and you rush to attack or defend that objective you get far more points. You should see a green line and or triangles pointing at an objective if a team leader has given an order.

If the team leader isn't giving any orders, he's *** make your own squad or join a better one.

By the way, as a squad leader, press Q on a flag/objective to tell your team what to do ;)

I know what you mean though. I only play Domination (for now), and when you join a server and there's a good squad on your side and you all stick together, you usually win the round.

Question: I have VOIP enabled in the sound menu but I can't ever hear people speak. Does it not work, or does everyone use TeamSpeak instead? For what it's worth, I don't have a microphone if that makes a difference.
 
Yes it works, but most don't use it. I use it but according to many they can't hear me, but in teamspeak I'm loud and raging clear :p

Pressing ALT means you chat, just in case you didn't know :D
 
I’m enjoying normal more atm or 60% normal. With hardcore you are punished more severly due to the hitreg, killed around corners and 1 hit kills. Will be interesting too see if it changes with patch
 
Having a lovely game just now, then the newest bug rears it's head... game goes to black loading screen, Battlelog says "leaving level..." as if I had closed the game from battlelog. Known error after latest patch, I had this before and updating punkbuster worked, so i checked just now and no updates.

Oh and they need to fix these trolls who blow up their teams vehicles. Had a go in AA earlier trying to unlock active missiles, get blown up by C4 by team mate, and then he takes it after I die.
 
TBPH, I really don't know how people put up with hardcore mode in bf 3 and bf 4.

- team killing gits
- loads more campers due to no 3d spotting, kill cam
- die in like 1 shot so no time to react
- snipers can kill in one shot
- I have found there to be less team work than in normal mode (at least for bf 3 this was the case)

Spotting isn't much of a problem in normal mode any more as:

1. hardly anyone spots! :p
2. you can't spot anywhere as much, especially when in aircraft
3. you can use that squad perk to reduce the time you are spotted etc.

On the topic of spotting, I have noticed that a lot more people are using their mini map compared to bf 3 now!

does the message still come on screen with the "your the squad leader" message if the previous squad leader leaves, cos i cant remember seeing it so don't give orders for a while :(
 
Game is still a complete mess. Crosshairs vanishing, 1 hit kill bug still isn't fixed, the annoying EMP blur. Complete nonsense that you can repair the helis in the air, saw one take like 6 stingers before it went down.

And half the time when I crash I need to restart my machine or the game will either continue to crash, or refuse to start.

Hah I spawned on a squad mate in locker and dropped under the map and was parachuting down with the level dissapearing above me lol.
