Battlefield: Bad Company!

this veteran stuff has annoyed me.

Can't register battlefield 2 or special forces as I can't remember my old login name and have moves isp's.

Tried battlefield 1942 and battlefield vietnam keys and it says both my keys have already been used.

Not sure if it's the system or they have actually been used.

Also cannot link my PS3 id name to my new account I've created at all.

Had a few good games online but only managed to get the health injector for the assault class and also the mines for the support guy.

Good fun though will be lot better when it all settles down.

same problems as me then, when i try my psn id it says its invalid :( it excepted my old 360 name though :rolleyes:
 
How many BF games do I need for the veteran unlock? I registered Bad Company and BF2 and all its expansions except Euro Force... but and my veteran level says 1?

Manage to link my PSN to the EA account as well but it doesn't seem to have shown up on the Bad Company site just yet... hopefully that unlock will come through.

Honestly, all this trouble for weapon unlocks. Can't they all just be like the newsletter one? :p
 
Can anyone here join a squad with their friends on the PS3 version? Me and my friend have both opened up the ports found in the back of the manual yet it still says failed when we try to join each other.
 
just started playing this today properly its a grower imo.

1st i thought it was a bit flaky now i think its got some legs and will improve as the nubs quit. whilst i agree cod 4 is better the small maps etc always did my nut in.
 
I hope it's a grower. I've only played about 4 rounds of the final game (played around 60 rounds of the demo and beta) and only one of them was a full game so am still reserving final judgement.

I'm loving it, I think its really fantastic - probably one of the best multiplayer experiences I've had on the 360

Has anyone unlocked the achievement for taking three pictures using the online image system? I've taken millions of pictures but got no achievement...

You seem to have a very different view on good multiplayer experiences compared to me, although I'm still hopeful as I really liked MC.

I have got it.

You made sure it says upload complete?

I had to open the http port for it to work.

Check the manual for ports.

I reckon this is probably one of the best live games i have played, it has replaced halo for me at the time being. The game really comes into it's own when your with mates in a squad and moving/attacking as a squad. Great fun!

Love the scale of things!

P.S. Demo sucks! The rocket is too underpowered to be of any use. If it took 2 rockets to kill a tank from the front i would use it.
 
demolition is a good class...i like the way that if a tank rolls in it isnt the overpowering behemoth that it is and can be picked off quite easily by a good team. So far ive found its not as "hardware based" as previous battlefields and theres a nice balance of weapons etc.
anti tank mines are nice aswell :)
I was using the scar last night in the specialist class- hated it at first now love it.
its one game where i've found that the sniper class doesnt rule over all the others and can be quite vulnerable. in one game we had half of the other team kept sniping so they lost big time.
All in all im loving this game (my opinion- please no sarcy remarks lol)
and you cant compare it to cod4- they are two very different gamestyles.

It's funny you say that.

A mate and I used to love playing CoD United Offensive as it played more like battlefield because it had huge maps.

Hope Treyarch bring back the huge maps! That's was the last great CoD.

I'll try the port thing later although my router is upnp enabled?

I definitely think the same about halo, this beats the crap out of it to be honest and for me it will for a very long time.

You obviously suck at demo :p I don't have any trouble fooling a tank and getting 3 rockets at him - you need to play mind games with the player inside!

Im another demolitions player. The delights of the shotgun and taking 3 or 4 people out in quick succession has pleased me greatly.

ive only done it because i dont really have a clue what im doing most of the time. im still learning though.
