Battlefield Veterans Program

Awesome so far... No we cannot merge accounts. No we cannot transfer games. No we cannot link accounts.

Yes I can transfer your veteren status.. currently he is doing this.

Next is can you change my origin ID to a name which is showing as a persona on the EA ID that origin uses so you would not think this would be a problem would you.. we shall see#

NOPE they cant do anything about the id cant change it cant edit it. Utter pathetic.

Yeah I tried that too. Tying new origin sign-ups to an old system when you can't even merge them is so retarded.
 
You can link them together though so they show up in your veteran program

Which is all that really matters. Don't see the issue ?

I actually tried to do this via the email support, and they outright told me that even though I had BF2, BF2142 they couldn't link them to my account as they were pre 2009. I told them that is completely ridiculous as they are still selling the games. I will now go back to them and say that it is happenign already. Thanks guys.

Also.. I can't actually link my BF2 and BF2142 into the veterans program, they simply don't appear on the list.. only "Battlefield" appears.

Yeah they don't exactly the link the accounts, they checked my old emails that I used with the other games then they just added the games to my new origin account. I onlly had BC2 and BF3 on my origin account, the rest he added when he saw I had played them. They did not show straight away though, took 2-3 hours after he added them to show on battlelog.
 
Just contacted EA support 'Yes we can link 2 accounts, hold on. Oh sorry, you've exceeded your personas for the new one, bye!'

Seriously....no explanation as to what the hell a persona is, with regards to an Origin account. An Origin account that is 6 months old and has a whole 2 games registered to it.

Utterly useless. If I pulled that sort of behaviour in my job, I'd be out on my arse faster than I could think.
 
can't even remember the old gamespy account/email I used to have so how am I supposed to link my games :/ going to go on ea live chat now and see if they can help
 
Maybe not the best suggestion, but I had trouble getting my vet status to update, so i contacted EA support (yes they are a joke)

My wonderful live chat convo did go well tho.

Something like this. (oh and my typeing skills were slightly better at the time, and i didnt butcher the English language quite as much)

Me :Hi, my vet status isnt updatein, i have bf2 + bf2142 here, but i cant seem to get them to update.

EA Support : Ok, let me help you with that. I can add them to you account. Please give me your email address / ea username.

Me : Ok, Turfrider etc etc

EA Support : It should be updated now, please check to make sure it all has gone on.

Me : Thank you!


Etc!.. Then i check my vet status... Now i'm vet rank 7 they added every battlefield game that was currently out. :D thank you for the dog tags EA!
 
Oh another option which i had to do when adding my old bf games to my origin account not linked to the vet status at all, as it still didnt update when i did this, but does give me the option to download them in origin.

Create a new screen name on http://uk.pogo.com/ then get ea to add your bf games to that, and then add them to your origin account.
 
Well, ea live chat monkeys are morons. He/she only took 10 years to respond to anything I said aswell.

How / where do I add cd keys? I have 2142 and 1942 on disc but i dont recall them ever being linked to an EA account and so they havent been picked up?

I am glad to inform you that I have manually entitled the required veteran status to your account. Now you would be able to

see the veteran status. Generally it is not possible to add veteran from the customer support end. However I have done some

exception in your account.

I would also like to inform you that you would be able to see the veteran status of the games after conpleting the levels.

I know why they don't provide timestamps. It takes soooooo long. Also she hasn't added the games, she unlocked 1 dog tag which I will never use.
