Battlestar Galactica (now containing quite minor spoilers)

S3 E4 gave me a semi. I watched it back like 4 times. Even my girlfriend was turned on by it.

Of course, *that thing that happens* isn't the only star of the episode. Exodus Part II also provides on of the best line deliveries, from Hot Dog, of all people. "Well... this is going to be different.". Perfectly understated.

Interestingly, it also received the lowest ratings of the entire show.

I have a feeling this may be answered later, if so ignore this, but the note left at end of mini series saying "there are only 12 cylon models" does he mean 12 of the human cylon models, 3 of each. Or there are 12 conpletely different cylon humans?

If this gets answered in the series then don't tell me :p

Not telling.

Just you wait until Ep 4 of season 3 then, you will quite literary do sex wee wee after that episode

Quite possibly the best bit of action/CG i've seen on a TV show ever. Loved that episode SO much.

Shame that it was probably a fair chunk of the FX budget for that year though.

A brilliant show. I'm glad I kept watching it after the miniseries at the beginning, as the miniseries just makes it look like a generic s++ty show. Moral of the story, if you do watch the miniseries, just remember it gets much much better in the actual proper series. Damn it. I almost miss it now too. Can't wait for blood and chrome to appear on the screens. Hopefully they will do a better job than with Caprica.

Is there a website that explains the plotlines in detail? Something similar to lostpedia ?

Caprica goes some way (tho not in depth) to explaining some of the religious undertones/background and the cultural differences and so on even tho its fairly loosely based on the BSG universe it also goes a long way to fleshing out the motivations of some characters thats not explained in much depth in BSG.

I finished the whole lot not too long ago and can safely say its probably the best television series i have ever watched.

However i also felt that season 4 lost its way totally and didnt grab me the same way that the other 3 did.

For me they should have made season 3 end differently and have a movie that explains how everything worked out.

Even now it all feels so incomplete. :(

Just finished season 1. Wow :D

Was gripped from the first episode through to the last. Really well written, dramatic storylines which reveal enough but also keep you hanging and the charcters are great. Love dr baltar, great acting and really looking forward to seeing how things develop with him.

Great ending as well, really didn't expect what did what happen, as soon as I finished it I ordered second series :p can't wait!

bsg is amazing, really looking forward to the new show as Caprica was a massive let down.
I see Atlantic are doing reruns of the whole show nowadays which is good.
