BBC Criminality: Questions from the Licence Payer‏

Tbh though this is so full of holes. 'Grooverider' was convicted on the strength of what prosecutors called a 'fleck' of cannabis on the sole of his shoe, iirc anyway, and Speighty was released a few hours after questioning, which is customary when you've been with a person who died under odd circumstances. He then killed himself whilst on a grief binge.

The rest I cba to read up on, but it's basically sensational nonesense.

Irony is the Guardian is hemorrhaging money as well.

Double HA HA.

That was the BBC reporter who killed his partner, right? IIRC his partner was suffering from long-term debilitating illness and asked teh BBC guy to help him die. Smothered him with a pillow, I believe.

I remember that. He later recanted his live confession, and said he'd made it all up. Police found no evidence of anything, or of the person he confessed to killing. Iirc he said something on the lines of 'he lost it and made it all up for the attention' or some such. Could be wrong though.
