It could work it really well if they use the interactive stuff they have on freeview.
Choose which camera you want and follow one of several drivers.

The ads aren't ideal, but ITV coverage in general is a lot better than it used to be on the BBC.

However I'm sure the BBC will up their game and offer things like streaming video, practise sessions etc. so there is no point comparing anything until next year.

Very true.

With the BBC we had a quick "hello" and then it was practically one with the race. At least ITV make a "show" of it and try to educate the viewers on rule changes, tactics and strategies etc..

I'd happily watch it on ITV even with the adverts rather than go back to the traditional BBC coverage. That said if the BBC make an effort this time round it should be interesting.

If they do this properly this could be fantastic. If they do it like they used to it'll be the suck. We won't know till they finally start.

Bernie would not have agreed to it if he didnt believe that the BBC offering would be more than the ITV offering. He has hardly got to where he is by making bad decisions and not understanding what is required.
