BBC Weather forecast - always breezy ?

I've checked multiple places around including Mexico, Sahara Desert and Australia. All "breezy" for the next week according to BBC Weather :D
 
Yeh I gave up on BBC weather totaly now.

Have gave them all a shot over the years as my job depends on a good forecast.

Xcweather is by far the best I find, but only really accurate for 3 days in advance. But that is to be expected.
 
Look at any location in the world and it's breezy! Even Khartoum which believe me is never breezy. It's either scorching hot sun or it's a sandstorm. Breezy - NO!
 
The BBC weather has become a joke, I have lost count how wrong so often they have been with their forecasts in my neck of the woods, I think it is time they got a new pine cone and some fresh seaweed, and found an alternative way to forecast wind direction other than I guy using a wet finger.
 
BBC weather said that at 15:00 today there would be an 18% chance of rain.

The Met Office website said 90% chance of rain.

Take one guess as to whether or not it’s raining. :rolleyes:

Oh yeah, and it says “light cloud and breezy”…
 
It just goes to show, even Met Office don't always get it right...

We currently have light rain in Bitterne.

Met Office says currently 20% chance of rain
Wunderground says it's dry at our nearest station of Witts Hill (even though Wundermap has a high coverage of "green" rain
Metcheck says it's dry until 1600, but their downwind radar shows rain already over us that will continue until at least 1900!
BBC (Met Group) says expect light rain and breezy
