BC2 BETA... Your thoughts and SCREENSHOTS of it

So i received my code 3 hours ago, just tried to register.. serials already been used apparently.
Is the registration/login server down or something? Or are play getting an instant pre-order cancellation?
 
A new BFBC2 PC Beta client is on its way.
Don't worry it is a new painless process and will not be a massive 1.4Gb download again.
Watch this space for information on fixes and how to go about getting the RC2 Client.

The RC2 contains the following fixes:

Front end:
Fixes server browser crashes. Server browser more resilient against corrupt online service data, and better support for large number of servers.
Several server browser ping issues resolved.

Windows XP stability:
Fixed crash on windows XP at end of round, exit game and display mode changes and.
Proper window style / mouse confinement when starting game maximized on XP

Options dialog:
Mouse sensitivity setting gives more effect.
Mouse sensitivity loaded on game startup.
 
anyone else find they get massive slowdown when they open the scoreboard (tab) but only while it;s open?

The game for me at the moment is a bit too manic, am a big fan of BF PC series, also like CoD:MW2 SP on the PC, but this doesn't seem that good at the moment. More looking forward to BF3, whenever that'll be out.

My AMD athlon64 3500+ 2.2ghz socket 939, 2gb ram, ATI 3850agp runs at 1680x1050 medium, but is laggy.

If i updated the bios to run say a AMD athlon 64x2 4400 i could probably play it ok.So if anybody has anolder rig, all is not lost :)

Done that already, that's why im crusing at 80% CPU usage :) Initially opening the game up with DXmode set to Auto and no +fullproc was diabolical. Couldn't beleive it was so choppy! But now I'm rid of the choppy and bag to lag, so it's still not great. Wouldn't mind an offline client like BF2 to remove the lag issues so I can assess the framerate/feel of it properly. At the moment im jumping back and forth every so often when the connection hiccups.
 
Can anyone help me with a simple question please. I preordered the game on Steam yesterday.

When i get asked to enter my Serial key to play a game, i enter the one from Steam that pops up when i launch game, yet says it is invalid?

Is the right key to use or should i get one elsewhere?
