Amazing, you figured that out from the first day of a beta test?
brilliant
keeps telling me to check my network connection though
will have to try again when the service isnt being thrashed and they iron out a few of the bugs etc
What's the point in giving the medic class health packs then?
Thats what i was thinking, apparently the health regenerates but very slowly, the packs make it regen much faster.

I've spent a good 3 or 4 hours on this tonight and i like it a lot. I'm currently half way onto private 3 ranking. At first i had some trouble just like everyone else trying to find a decent server and the CTD on the server browser, but after adding a few multiplay servers to the recent/history list, and joining that way i can squeeze into a uk game no problems at all.
It does tend to lose connection every now and then, but nothing a quick rejoin to the same server doesn't sort out.
I have noticed that there isn't any smoke cans on the tank, and there is no flares on the chopper. I hope they put them into the final game.

At first i hated it and thought meh, now I've gotten the hang of it I'm loving it.
Had one game where i was up on the ridge by myself with an ammo box (love teammates
), and had about 5 of the other team all trying to snipe me
picking them off one by one
Also had my teammate plant bomb at B then shot 3 of the yanks while they ran in to defuse held em back long enough for it to go off
Never normally snipe in games but i love it in this with bullet drop etc
Also loving being an enginier and blowing up people camping mounted guns in one shot from half the map away

Didn't like it for the first half hour or so, but after that really got into it and actually had a clue as to what the frack was going on. Now, I really like it. Yes it has it's obvious problems, and I'm sure the shrubbery looks right out of BF2 with some white on top, but so much better than mw2 (IMO of course....)
I will be playing this for the next few days then probably leave it alone until it's finally released in a month or so. Looking forward to that a lot though!

But joking and slating MW2 aside, I honestly think this will be a better game.

I have not managed to play yet...unfortunately for me (I live in the sticks) I did not get dl complete until 11.20 last night. I installed it etc... but did not manage to get on to a server. I am home early today so I am praying that I will be able to get involved in this today.
I am trying to ignore the negatives as much as possible and I have to say some of the screenies peopl have posted have got me a little excited.

yes it is laggy but i didn't expect much of it on the first day of the beta (hence most of the beta's i played on mostly MMO's tho are laggy as hell or all the servers just crashed)
lol at the people who cancel their pre-order already ^^
i have to say tho, once you get a decent squad up and stay together it's very nice to play. I like it so far, but then i guess i normally don't set my expectations to high otherwise i'll get let down (happened too many times to me before)
i have mainly played assault class so far and i think that the guns shoot way to fast for my liking 30 bullet mag is empty in no time :O

I think they need to sort out Vehicle spawn times and how fast you can get in and out of them. It really is stupid when you move to intercept a Tank with C4 as it charges forwards, then both guys just jump out of it while its moving full speed and you're stuck there like a retard holding C4 with 2 guys that appeared in front of you.

what you guys to forget to realise it's A BETA TEST.
which means there are going to be problems/bugs ect... which will be folded out once the full retail game is released, if DICE are aware of the issue's you should be assured that there will be a major patch fix, like the BF1 & BF2 Series.
