Just had a game with Huddson, scored a few points.
Now, the noob on our team was laying c4 next to the mcom when we were defending, then when attackers set charge, he would set them off, killing them, but the mcom station as well. Noobtastic
Really need friendly fire on to be able to stop these guys tarding their own team
Yea as i saw in the AVP3 thread Play seemed to miss release day on EVERYONE's order so i'm thinking cancel and buy from Game...
Yer I am going to cancel my pre-order from Play and go with Game. I confirmed with Play over the weekend that their version is not Collectors, Special or anything. Just the ordinary version. It does actually say it's the standard version on the website but I had heard someone say they thought otherwise.
I think im going to do the exact same thing if I just log onto play.com could I just click cancel order and its all sorted or do I need to ring them up etc ?
Is it cheaper online from game or same price in shop?

I will be playing both i think, i like the ease of putting people down in Hardcore but the teamwork seems better (at times) in normal mode and of course having a cross hair on non-iron sight weapons.
I checked out ur flickr, some awesome shots there dude! Feel cheeky asking but u got anything that might span a 5040x1050 desktop?
At the start of the beta my answer would have been no, would fire a clip at someone point blank and maybe not even see a single hit on them let alone a kill.
Then with one of the earlier server updates that seemed to clean up the hit reg, my answer would have been maybe, felt a bit sluggish certainly something that 1-2 shot kills would alleviate.
But since the last client update were on top of the improved server performance I'm now playing at a good and very stable frame rate I think my answer would be yeah, I'm sticking with normal, only takes a few shots to down someone, doesn't feel like there is any problem with reg, feels a touch out of balance in relation to some weapon classes to others but I don't think that is anything hardcore would improve upon, would even maybe make worse.
Will have to see though, depends how large the gap is between what we're playing in beta and we're getting in retail will be, I think I will certainly begin with normal to see how it feels.

I've swapped to waiting for one my squad to land then spawning on them - not been sniped parachuting in yet but I've heard quite a few bullets cracking by, I'd be devastated if someone nailed me in the opening seconds

If you aim half a bodies length under their feet, by the time the bullet travels to them you should score a nice headshot (assuming you standing at the back of the defender map)
Think of it as an investment. Order this and think of the money you will save by staying in every friday and saturday night shooting fools!
