The Hyperoptic install for my block should be coming in the next month or so, shame I won't be living there any more

Good afternoon Sir kr00t0n
We are working to bring our service to The Willows as soon as possible. We currently have a verbal agreement in place with the building management. The next step is for us to receive the signed paperwork so we can then plan installations to cable the building with our infrastructure.
As you have already registered your interest we will keep you informed on the progress.
Kind Regards
Got this on the 6th of May, I'm probably being a bit optimistic, haha
I'd blame the leaseholders rather than Hyperoptic
When got moved from O2 after my contract was up i got the offer to move to Sky. They only charged me for the internet, & gave me £40 credit as well. Havent noticed a difference in the service, though i had to lose the static IP that i had with o2. Not that i knew what to do with it, but hey-ho. The only downside seems to be that you have to use their Sky Hub, unless you spoof its mac address on your own kit.
Count your blessings.

Ouch, looks like I was much more lucky then.
After the migration my personal router stopped working.
Phone support, tried some settings, didn't work, so they sent out a sky hub, received 3 days later, plugged in and all good apart from the loss of speed and ping.
Postcode lottery, just because you hear Sky sucks doesn't always mean it will suck it your area.. I'd wait if i was you.
Well I'll give them a call and try and work it out. The webchat person seemed quite adamant that I was on a 12 month contract (and that it would be better for me to stay due to cancellation charges!). They even said everyone migrated from BE was transferred onto a 12 month contract.
edit: I've found what I need. States here on their website:
Changes to both the Sky Broadband and Sky Talk Contracts:
• You will not be subject to a minimum term for your services when we move you to Sky. However, you will be subject to a minimum term if you choose to take up one of our special offers and transfer your services over to Sky earlier than the switchover date.

Anybody help me with this....
Tried cancelling sky broadband today after they auto migrated me in Feb and now they are saying i'm stuck in a contract until Feb 2015?
Surely this can't be right?
