12 months contract on the BT line.
 
BE have a new package for £14 a month, basically you get up to 8mb and unlimited usage, so exactly the same as the £24 deal except only up to 8mb, so if you aren't going to get anywhere near 24mb you might as well go for that.

Stay away from virgin they are poor, I have them and I am about to cancel and go with BE. Yesterday I could not load up any pages at all. And 7Kb download speeds off usenet. So trust me find someone else.

I'm about that distance from my exchange and get about 9 odd, with a connection speed in my router of about 11-12,000.

I've just moved to their Value package! So reduced down to about 8, but only £15 a month :)
