It always annoyed me shaving every couple of days for work so have decided not to for the past couple of weeks.

Partly because they seem to be 'in' at the moment and partly because I can blend in look scruffy and not shaving at work. Either way, im quite enjoying some facial growth for once.

Anyone else have an epic tramp beard?

There is a beard thread somewhere around here and there are a few serious ones in there. I have slightly long stubble really and shave once a week before it starts to become a proper beard.

Never grown one. It gets to about two weeks of untouched and I either take some clippers to it or shave it off as I look a mess and it itches. Tempted to see it through just to entertain my curiosity this time around though. We shall see.

I'm going to try this. Doesn't look quite rapist status yet but getting there.

I search and couldn't find a beard thread, just one about beard trimmers

I've had a goatee for a few years now. Always kept it neat and tidy and short. This last two weeks I haven't shaved at all and now I look like Charles Manson. Back to the goatee starting tomorrow I think. :)

You have to grin and bear the itching for a week or so, then once the hair is longer it goes away.

Makes a massive difference when I'm going along on my bike, too.

The GF got very annoyed at me for shaving of my growth a few days ago. Looks like I'll be having some sort of beard from now on - maybe a goatee, seeing as my cheek hair is pathetic... :(

I have to say that a beard is a godsend in winter of you are outdoors. It really does keep your face warm against a cold wind. My beard doesn't grow particularly thick so I don't bother. I went a month without shaving and it was only just passable after that. Like you judgeneo, my cheek hair is not great, but jawline is fairly thick and robust.

Mine lasted about 7 days earlier in the year before I shaved it off. I've recently toned up and am in pretty good shape (and sorted out my smart work clothes) so I think I can pull it off without looking like either a tramp or a heroine addict.

Currently on 6 days so far, and going (unsurprisingly) somewhat ginger, despite being dark haired. Consensus of the office females is that it is good. The guys just give me a ribbing, but I tell myself it's because they're jealous of my awesome ability to pull off ginger beard and dark hair!

I usually shave every 2-3 weeks because I'm to lazy to go and buy a beard trimmer and I look like a teenager with lines on his forehead when I've clean shaven
