those timings are impressive. i never new you could got 1600mhz ram the was cl7 out the box
that is incredible. i wish i was that lucky. well my first kit of ddr3 ram was corsair vengeance 1600mhz cl9. it probably the worst kit of ram ever because i won't do 1866 and even with a 50mhz oc with the base i have to put it to cl11 which made it really really slow. my second kit of ram was avexir 1600mhz cl9 which will do 1600mhz cl8 or 1866 cl9 or 2133 cl11 which was amazing after my first kit of ram. then my most recent kit is avexir 2400mhz cl10 and i've had it to 2500mhz cl10, but i have never got it to 2666mhz. i would love some epic ram but they tend to be expensive and now that ddr3 is being replaced its put me off buying any more ddr3.You can get tighter than that stock clocked.
My favourite bit of hardware is my Mushkin 1600mhz 6-8-6 kit.
Had them bench at 2600 CAS9, I just couldn't get any meaningful benchmarks as they we're done at low clocks speeds as my Ivybridge chip had a weak IMC
ok i will look out for themThere's no luck about it, it's all about knowing what ICs clock well and what RAM used them. Paid £30 for my 4gb just over a year ago
Pretty much anything that is 2x2gb 1600mhz 6-8-6 will clock very very well as they used PSC chips. Off the top of my head you have the choice of GSKILL Pi, Ripjaws X?, Corsair Dominators (rev8.1 iirc) Mushkin Redline/Blackline/Radioactive, and again iirc some of the GSKILL Eco we're PSC too
1.516v I could never do that with a £800 CPU.
