Beckham - Netflix Documentary

Binge watched this last night and thought it was good, shows a different side to them both from what the papers portray and shows what they went through, interesting to hear journalists saying what they got away with back then and how they know they wouldn't get away with it now.

Haven't got round to watching it yet, but he really seems like a decent guy. And to answer someones question upthread, he was enemy no1 for a long long time after that red card dunno if it was 2 years, but he coulda came up with a solution for world hunger and he have still been boo-ed.

It's a testiment to the man that he went from last lowest of the low to being effectively an ambassador for all things sporting in this country, and to be held in so high esteem and still a very big draw long after his playing days came to an end.
