how about some back ground on the winners.

ie...how old,what job you do,was it easy writing a review ?

I'm 18, I’m currently studying a degree in Computer Networking.

Was it easy... yes and no. It was easy in the sense it’s something I’ve always wanted to do, thus I enjoyed writing it. The hard bit came trying to fit it into OCUK's requirements, i.e. word count, keeping it in 3rd person etc. I also had a few problems with pictures due to my camera breaking but was saved at the last minute by a replacement.

I'm 18. Just about to finish secondary school. Planning on studying comp sci. at uni if my exams go as planned.
I wouldn't say it was easy tbh. It was time consuming and a source of much aggro when PS played up on me. I'd agree with VortX, the number of times I wanted to put 'I found' etc. I gotta say though, it was good fun :)

I'm 22 and I'm a 4th year MEng Chemical Engineering student. I've always been interested in hardware, and this competition was an excellent excuse for me to get some new parts and upgrade my old Core 2 system to a Phenom II one! Writing is both easy and not easy; I wrote my reviews in LaTeX which was good practise, but required a while to get the formatting and structure correct to the OcUK guidelines. But once you get writing, it's easy to write lots about something you're interested in.

Was really good fun writing the reviews though. Obviously in hindsight it's a wonderful thing to have won, but it was a great experience for me too, can't wait to write some more!
