I really like beef jerky , but its so expensive...

Is there any on-line shops which are cheap and what's your favourite flavour/style

A SA person brought some into work once, makes great beer snackage.

I've found large supermarket beginning with T do a some good jerky.

The original stuff is awesome, I don't like the peppered stuff that much, Chilli Biltong is the best. But it's so damn expensive.

Maybe not, I wouldn't trust the meat you buy from supermarkets to make jerky from.

Biltong is great, best stuff ever, such a shame it's so expensive to get. Shame the British arn't man enough to make and eat this tpye of thing!

Today I went to Tesco and bought 2x25g of the stuff, and tried it for the first time ever. Was some "American style" made in Argentina stuff, but was quite nice nonetheless :cool:

So I'd also be interested in where to get like.. 20kg of it for £3 or something.

Yes biltong is the best but we lack the nice hot days to dry the stuff and its just not the same done in a oven.
