Beef Jerky

If you live in London there is a good South African shop under Embankment station. Does awesome Biltong and Chilli bites (jerky) and much cheaper than the Wild west stuff (and less processed).

Alternatively buy a dehydrator (for £30) and make some yourself!:D

Wild west stuff is nice though if you wan't a quick snack.

Nice! Love beef jerky, but it's too expensive to buy even in bulk when I can get my protein fix from other sources more cheaply.

Enjoy it! It's lovely stuff.

Good to hear that customer service is something that is still present and correct.

Get one, they cost like a quid, get in the Christmas spirit.......even though it is only October.......

I am not celebrating Christmas early don't worry, I don't normally buy one till the end of Nov, more of a wind up for my colleague. ;)

It is pretty expensive which is why I was shocked with the amount I was sent. :)

I love jerky! I went to Americal in 2008 and blew $100 on all kinds of jerky.

But then I started to read up about traditional jerky and the kind of chemicals it has in it from the smoking process.

Benzine!!

I was about to post about M&S Peppered Beef Jerky being the best, but it turns out it's the same as Wild West Beef Jerky!

Beef snack company The Jerky Group, supplier of the Wild West Beef Jerky and Bundu Original Beef Biltong brands, has launched an own-label beef jerky range for M&S.

600g (dry weight) for £12... ;)

It's actually cheaper than making it with good beef from a supermarket!

Best jerky I've ever had, the range of meats and flavours is phenomenal. When they get the online shop up and running again it really is worth a purchase. Also if you keep an eye out they do various festivals, country shows and historical events and it really is fascinating watching the preparation and production in a proper way.

Fair comment. It's still a treat for me though. I bulk buy my meat from online butchers (5-10kg at a time) so that tends to provide my meat fix.

However as a snack it's great. I get a little bored of nuts and seeds.

I love the jerky from there.. Stocked up on a load a while back! The horse jerky (My Brittle Pony) was quite tasty! :D
