been done on ebay and knew it would happen.. BUT....

I've always said that if eBay was a bricks & mortar outfit it would've been closed down by trading standards years ago.
You have!

Someone needs to setup a fake but branded outfit for this purpose
So you can order an empty jiffy bag to an address, but the outer is branded really heavily, such as :
- Cuckold gear.com
- Closet cross dresser.com
- Ladyboys.com
- Smallwillycondoms.com

That kinda thing. Even better if you can get their work address :)

i always pay for signed for delivery regardless or cost, i way undercharged on postage, think i charged like £3.50 postage. then paid another £3.50 to send it 1st class signed for even tho it was advertised as 2nd class. just about every review i have states how impressed they was with delivery times and item condition and how well its packed, ebay simply had no interest what so ever in even looking into it.

what annoyes me is that a seller cant leave bad feedback... he did email me not to long ago telling me tho he seen the feedback that i did leave even tho it was showing as a posative

" complete and utter bell end, claimed ive sold him fake aftershave because he wants it for free "

Send him a cucumber and clearly mark the envelope as an adult "toy" shop, such as Ann Summers.

His wife might even be grateful.

while thinking of were and what to order from, somthing along those lines did cross my mind in sending something like that aswell.

Send me a free cucumber if you want.

I know it's funny and all but why waste money and effort on something so petty.

Send a bomb or a box of Ebola. At least achieve something. :p

2nd reminder

Is it still a thing that you can send something with incorrect postage and the buyer gets something, and has to pay to get it delivered?

Could send him a poo.
No postage.
He gets one of those red cards.
Might think its something important and pay.

Effectively he's paid for the privilege of having a poo come through his letter box?

So many scammers on eBay :(

I don't sell on there at all and only really buy low value items for this exact reason.

All you can do is report him for fraud. Don't expect the cops to be too interested though, they have people saying naughty things on twitter to deal with.

Are there actually though? Anecdotally, I sold over 20 items in the last couple of years, mostly low value (<£100) but a few over £500. Haven't had a single issue so far.

... he even told me he had thrown the item out but still wanted a refund... ye im sure you did pal. ebay still took his side. i really should just close my ebay account and stick to amazon

That's pretty crap of ebay and they could be flouting some distance selling regulation thingy or trading law. You should never have to pay a refund until you have received the item back.

I know it's of a small value and your own time but the principal still stands, the buyer is a liar and a thief, nothing less.
