Beers of the World - Mk 5 *** RULES AND SIGNUP HERE ***

Yeah I agree.

Maybe we should have one round where it’s a bonus for the most common beer. Something daft like “the worst supermarket lager”

Just been over to visit my sister. Turns out she’s just start dating the head brewer from a pretty decent brewery. He used to be head brewer at Vocation too. I’ve told her not to mess things up!

@Bickaxe can I play my jester this week?

Finally managed to get a 'Mark' beer, though with such slim pickings no doubt someone else will have the same!

This is my issue. Do you go with that and get the 2 bonus points or go with a collab where you’re more likely to be unique but lose the bonuses.

Just to check my entry for this week is a photo with a bear tap badge. Branded brewery badge but beer is hand written on it. Is that okay?

No worries if not have a load of backups!

As long as it contains everything required, no problem.

Good job I saw this - I've had a really busy week so had completely forgotten about it.

I've submitted my J entry.

Wow. If anyone gets a chance to get hold of my beer this week I’d jump at it. An absolute monster. Tastes like a punchy sour mango Rubicon.

Massively makes up for the piece of crap I had last week.

@Bickaxe If my beer is categorised as fruited on Untappd is that enough? I've basically got myself into a fruit or vegetable pickle (no pun intended) :D but I have time to get a backup as well.

The fruit must be mentioned in the ingredients. I expect real fruit to be have been harmed in the making of said beer.

Hmm I'm not sure that that's fair to inform us of that at this stage. In the OP it just says, "a beer with fruit involved". Surely anyone whose beer is classed as a fruit beer would be fairer. Now I'm not sure if my entry qualifies.

Fruit being involved would mean the there is fruit in the ingredients.
Tasting notes saying hints of stone fruit would not be enough in my mind. Its not like there isn't much out there, pretty much every sour uses fruit for a start.

Aye, it’s pretty obvious it needs to have fruit in the name/ingredients.

My entry in, another £8 number. This competition is expensive!!
