is it still ok to wear beige trousers with say a navy ralph lauren polo shirt. i wore it out last night and all my friends and gf gave me so much slack about me looking like a 50 year old golfer : /

I have a pair of beige 'cargo pants' (or whatever those trousers are called with pockets on the side of the legs) and I find them very comfortable and I think I look cool in them. Whether I do or not is irrelevant because I couldn't care less if they are fashionable or not. :)

If you wet yourself it will show up BADLY.
 
Bit of a difference between beige combat trousers & beige slacks though isn't there ;)

Personally, I think it's ok to wear such slacks if you're on a yacht. And 50+.
Otherwise no, just no...

How crazy is this thread?!
I've got a pair of dark blue trousers and wondered if they would go with a beige shirt I've got or not.
I can't decide myself as I'm a vampire & can't use mirrors:(

Combat-trousers, that was the word I was looking for. They are beige though.

If you want beige trousers why not do it properly and buy those £9.99 brown nylon slacks from the dodgy adverts in the Sunday papers. Nice. :D
 
Any post made by the OP that wasn't "... are just wrong." is not a good thing.

I know have a relatively fashion aware g/f that I take shopping to make sure I avoid this!

If you wear deck shoes and oaklies they you will fit in well with the oxford yacht crowd.

Or you can drape a jumper around your neck and come to Romford, and wake up in hospital :)
