Being Human - New series, Sunday at 9.30pm on BBC Three

The ending to this season was superb, cannot wait for the next one.

I found the last third a little weak... We seem to be getting into anything goes, as long as the story needs it... But that said, the rest of the series was superb viewing.

Just hope the next series still has the legs to run with :)

Who was the dude at the end and who were the two girls?

OMG! Did you not watch the rest of the series or something? One of the two girls was who George had his 'way' with and who Mitchell went all jihad with with when he lost it... The other was the one who Mitchell had killed for attacking humans.

You did watch the rest of the episodes, right? ;)

The girls were Daisy (the promiscuous vamp with the short skirt that had sex with everything) and the ugly one from the hospital canteen, who Mitchell knocked her tooth out with a rock (and who else noticed that Mitchell only came back to the funeral parlour with the one tooth, leaving it "ooh, she could come back and drink because she's got another tooth"?)

The bloke was Herrick, the "head vampire"/"clean up guy" who George ripped apart at the end of Series 1.

It was a very weird ending, leaving it a open for series 3.

Is he a werevampire now? He's a vampire and was killed by a werewolf!

Good grief Jokester - I had an incredibly confusing time reading this thread until I realised you'd mega-bumped it!

Couldn't work out why people all thought the new series was only the second :o

Enjoyed that. They wrapped up the Annie being stuck thing a bit quick, though. Thought they might get more mileage out of that one.

Going to be pretty dark this one maybe?

Saw paul kaye. He was in shameless last tuesday too.

One of the better things BBC3 (bbc even) put out

Really enjoyed the first episode of the new series. Good mix of humour and darkness. The bit where George aciidentally stumbles across the dogging site was very funny. Hope they manage to sustain the quality.

Watched this last night.

Really enjoyed the character of Lia, I think Lacey Turner did a really good job :)

I didn't think that the Annie in purgatory thing would have been wrapped up so quickly, I was expecting that to be a series-wide story arc. Curious now to what Annie's role will be for the rest of the series.
