Looked like it was a safe release but he didn't get off the line fast. Happened with the other Caterham as well

There is a marker a distance up the pits that they're not allowed to release if a car has passed isn't it?

He can't have been sat there spinning up that long...

I thought the argument went along the lines that closed cockpit could be just as dangerous because it would make it harder to exit the vehicle.

And when's the. Last time. We had a massive fire?
Risk of being hit in the head, compare to. Being stuck.

The risk is far greater with open cockpit.

Was vettel meaning to come in then? The red bull guys were in the pits then went back inside as msc came in. Looked like he changed his mind and wheel spinned to make the turn
