Maldonado has 2x5 place penalties.

One for the jump start and one for colliding with Glock

Grosjean also gets a €50'000 fine.

A fair punishment considering the severity and the drivers involved, but it does put a lot of other moves into question e.g. Maldonado.

Interesting. The fact that it highlights leading championship contenders probably also lead to the severity of the punishment.

I really despise Maldonado. Jump starts the lights and all his previous incidents, then if i'm correct in hearing that Grosjean has been banned for a race? Not sure if it was just me but I didn't see how it was his fault unless I am missing something.

Maldonado given 10 place grid penalty for Monza. 5 for jump start, 5 for causing an accident.

what punishment did coulthard get for spa 98? wrote of half the grid and then slowed down on the racing line in terrible conditions.

grosjeans been involved in a lot of start incidents but a 1 race ban seems OTT considering maldonados record

Didn't they say that's the 6th or 7th time he's been involved in a first lap accident on bbc? Perhaps they should have spoken to him earlier

Harsh considering the history of accidents in F1, not so harsh if they intend to do this stuff more regularly.

It took a full race to decide Fat John should have a 1 race ban. Its this race he should have been pulled out of. It shouldnt take 3 hours to find him a liability.

Did you watch the race?

He didn't even manage 1 corner, so how could they have pulled him from this race?

1 race ban fair in my eyes he needs something doing to him after 7 race crashes that beeb were on about
