Events fell in Lewis's favour but still a great result to come through from the back to the podium. Really enjoyable race, hope KMag isn't too badly hurt.
Unreal... You'd swear a bad race took place last weekend. Not a summer break.

Weren't the used mediums just his qualifying set so he did a slow in/out lap and a very slow qualifying lap on them? Barely makes a difference. If softs can do 10 laps his used mediums could surely do at least a few laps more than that.
More though, the mediums were working well the softs weren't hence the early stop, at that stage go onto the tires working well and only take them off when you need to. So you put them on with 20 laps to go, if they still feel great after 13 laps you do 2 more, they finally go off then you end up only doing 5 laps on the softs which also means you can push them hard.
The reverse which they chose is do 10 laps on softs, they weren't very fast anyway, they pit and even if those mediums could do 15 laps, he only had 10 laps left and it's a waste. I think in general always start with the best tire, wait till they don't work then go onto the worse tire and do as few laps as you can get away with.
Who would enforce it? You cannot stop bad behaviour from crowds of that size...

Was it not the last race that he got a penalty for forcing Verstappen off though? I think that would mean more to this crowd than hitting Hamilton before that.
But ultimately as Flibster says, some people will boo Germans anyway, either in terms that they feel genuinely justified or they've booed Germans at Spa for so long that it is just part of the atmosphere, more pantomime than real hatred but same as football teams having special cheers for certain players who visit.
