That explains Vettel's pace as he wasn't that close without it. I think that must have given him a good few more tenths.

I mean, he could have screwed up(though could have made a 'mistake' on purpose) and so they decided to use him, or they could have planned it and put that out on the radio for appearances. Kimi is clearly very happy to be paid hugely to be a no.2 at Ferrari.

I'm surprised the slipstreaming wasn't more widely used. it leapfrogged a Ferrari above a Merc and also made Mclaren look not completely embarrassing but no one else even tried it from what I can recall.

That tyre oscillation looks terrible. Never seen it to that extent before, surely that could shake the rear of the car apart if it kept happening lap after lap? What a cracking pole lap from Lewis.

what happened to the shark fin number rule thing? i'm sure there was a bit of fuss about it a couple of races back? Did it get binned? Was it ever officially implemented?
Just asking because Massa didnt have a Shark fin number at all.

AFAIK there wasn't a rule they had to go on the fin, just somewhere on the car. Some have them on the rear wing end plate
