Early thread this time as I'm away for the next week with no access to PC.

Dammit! I thought F1 was back this weekend :( Where's a twiddling thumbs gif when you need one.

I’m going to Spa for this, my first F1!

Absolutely buzzing to get either brunt to a crisp or drenched in the Ardennes!

I got burnt to a crisp and then had injuries like Jesus trying to climb over the fence onto the track back in 2015 lol

I certainly wouldn't mind seeing them be more competitive. I mean last year we had 4 cars side by side on the Kemmel, so here's to more of that. Not sure Racing Point have it in them this year, but Red Bulls, Ferraris and Mercs will do nicely.

Where’s Ocon going then? He’s not getting any faster just driving a simulator.

Suggestion is that he'll go to Renault. We'll see.

Albon starting from the back after taking a new spec honda unit. He'll have Kvyat alongside him at least

Part of me thinking that's a strategic decision more than an engineering one. Put Albon at the back and well away from direct comparison with Max, and under as little pressure as can be for his first weekend with the team. The fact they get a free set of engine components for it is just a bonus.

Alfa has placed their reserve driver, Ericsson, on standby as Kimi's picked up an injury to his left leg...
