So petition for Max to start P20 every race and probably still win? Every win he gets means he has to start in pit lane and has to wait an extra 5 seconds every time he still wins? :D

It's certainly a bit ridiculous when a car/driver can start 14th and be leading after 12/14 laps....
Yea and his way faster than the same damm car too...

At least during Lewis domination, bottas was always there or thereabouts.

Lewis win from Rock bottom last in Brazil was world class, this isn't.

Way easier to overtake in spa, harder in Brazil

Is it?

Shouldn't the fastest driver+car combo win then?

What I mean is how one car/team/driver has such a massive advantage over the rest of the field - it's crazy how much of an advantage they have

I'm not knocking Max/RB - it's just disappointing the rest are nowhere in sight to make it a better entertainment product.

When you look at how title winning teams can fall off etc after dominating for years, Red Bull have always been there or there abouts. It’s usually been them chasing down the leaders each season since they won their four titles. I think this was inevitable, they out develop everyone each year, was only a matter of time (and the right driver pairing) before they were winning again. Obviously Ferrari being laughable making it considerably easier.

F1 is a team sport, a huge part of that is producing the best car. It’s the same for Max and Lewis for me. They’re both exceptional talents so if you’ve give them a quick car they’ll dominate, as Lewis rightly did for years. This is an English forum predominantly, let’s not pretend Lewis hasn’t been placed on a pedestal for many years.
And why is it bad for British people to support a British person....

Do you also expect a Dutch to show unbiased to max? Thought so

And they’ve gotten better at starting strong whereas in other seasons they were sometimes in a deficit at the start before catching or closing the gap at least.

But it's supposed to be a sport (and a team sport at that), not an entertainment product.

So why be disappointed when it's working as intended?

:)

I didn’t say it was, I supported Lewis through all his wins and love seeing Russell do well now. You’re literally misinterpreting stuff on purpose, then posting barely legible responses. Get a grip.

So you think without the fans - as a sport - it would survive? No chance. It needs to be entertaining or people will switch off/stop going/stop spending money. There needs to be a proper balance in any sport.

Well some here moaned about Hamilton dominating and all wishing for max to win. So here you go, same story, probably more faster team /car than Hamilton /merc.

Has Hamilton /merc ever been this faster than the rest of the pack?

How come Perez is dog slow today?
