Still think the whole "It's not gambling, because you loot something" is a load of tripe.

So what if you get something, it's not guaranteed to be what you wanted.
How can that be anything other than gambling?

Apologies for quoting myself, but I realised that the legal age for buying scratch cards in the UK is 16, so even if loot boxes are classed as gambling it may not change anything anyway!
