Unfortunately the UK Government charge additional duty for any panel with a HDMI connection which is why HDMI is typically more expensive.

I'd take the BenQ anyday. LED backlighting for less money would easily win it for me. You've only got to look at the reviews of the G2420HDBL which shares the same panel to see how good they are.

very tru, I have a samsung 20 inch and the samsung would match, Samsung also looks betta......

so gaming wise would the picture look that much better, and would it add to the experience in ur opinion?

That sucks! Plus tax is the reason the max video recording time on my digital camera is 15min!
