Best Android camera phone?

If you don't need zoom, save a pile of cash and get the Pixel 6a. IIRC it beat allcomers in Marques Brownlee'Brownlee's blind test. (Tongue in cheek comment. Well, mostly)

I'm not bothered about the zoom camera, but I do need 256gb or more of storage, and I don't want to downsize from the 6.67" screen I'm using now, appreciate that it's got a great camera though.

I actually got the 6a as a stop gap between selling my Note 10+ and getting hold of an S21/22 Ultra. It's been so good I'm not in a rush.

If I were you I'd get an S21/22/23 Ultra.

I'd only want the S23 Ultra if I was going to get a Samsung, and at around £1250, it's out of my price range unfortunately.

I'd definitely choose the Pixel over the other phones.
My mate took loads of videos and pictures of my band with his Oppo and they were unusable especially the videos.

Another thing about the Pixel 7, I was in a pub just before Christmas showing off the picture capabilities of my Samsung S21 Ultra and took a zoomed picture of some pork scratchings at the other end of the pub and the picture was superb.
My mate got his Pixel 7 out and I had to admit it was better.

The Pixel line also gets skin tones and stuff like shades of green grass so accurate vs other phones. And the way it freezes motion is superb.

Thanks for the info, the Honour is released tomorrow, and I'm still very tempted by that one, I'll ponder it tonight.:D

And after much pondering, I had a couple of whiskies and ordered the Honor Magic5 Pro at five past midnight this morning!

£850 for the 12gb/512gb meadow green phone, free screen damage protection for 6 months, free case, free wireless charger, and free earbuds 3 Pro, looking forward to having a play.

That's certainly a lot of hardware for the money.

What phone are you coming from.?

Poco X3 Pro, had it for over 2yrs and it's been brilliant, but the camera is average at best, the Magic5 should be a massive upgrade in all departments.

Loving it so far, fantastic screen, great battery life, and the camera is amazing, especially compared to the Poco!

Couple of little software quirks when I was setting it up, but every Android overlay has those, got it set up exactly how I like it now, and it's great.

Good deal on that Moto too, bargain for someone.
