A shame you couldn't stretch to £350, as the 980Ti is a sweet card for that price. I can't really recommend the RX480 after seeing what performance was like. I would go for a fury if £300 is the top of your budget and faster than your 390, so an upgrade at least.
FREESYNC monitors for AMD GPU'sI thought freesync worked with all cards, why would it be wasted on a 980ti?
FREESYNC monitors for AMD GPU's
G-SYNC monitors for Nvidia CPU's
Ok so the options are ;
980 ti
Sapphire fury
Rx480 nitro (looks to be weakest)
I already had a thread where I asked this question after getting to the bottom of my current gpu woes.
Long story short is that card is being rma for a full refund of £300 so I need to get myself a new card.
Not got a clue what card to get that will give me the best performance and also futureproof me as much as possible for my budget.
My current monitor is a 1080p freesync.

But would it make the game smoother from having higher FPS that you would get with a 980ti over a RX 480....?Id rather keep Freesync and have everything buttery smooth than get a 980TI..
also the zotac comes with 5 years warranty
