The 750s is a low-power version of the 750, aimed at people who would be happy with a little less processing power in return for lower energy consumption. I don't suppose many of the people on this forum will go for that one.
The 860 and 860s share a similar relationship.
8th September.
So when the 1156 comes out will that be the end of the line for the older 1366 i7 socket (i9 will that be 1366 socket)? The reason I ask is I'm about to upgrade new motherboard, CPU and memory I don't want to upgrade to something that will be dead or have no upgrade pathI haven't been watching the hardware scene for a while and I'm not sure now what to do now as I have an opportunity to upgrade from the system in my signature

Part of me is still just tempted to get a i7 920 D0.
Will all the current X58 boards be able to support the new i9 when it's released?
Aren't they stopping production of the 920's at the same time that they release the i5s?
I highly doubt that. Do you have a source for that info?
I really wanna go for the i7 860 but isn't it priced exactly the same as the i7 920 - if so, what's the point?
