Best Command & Conquer game

I bought RA3 earlier. Two and a half hours playing it without realising. :o

It is not bad, might pick up Tiberium wars as well. Not played any of the series since the PS1 days, probably RA1.
 
Just bought RA3 and Uprising, for £8 I can't complain even if its not as good as RA2, I have found a cracking looking Mod though based on Advance Wars which looks promising!
 
I thought ra3 was poo, I didn't even finish it, didn't even bother with candc 4

Ra2 is good but out of those both candc 3 parts, loved them

Red Alert 2 is by far one of the best, but it's dated now, and the graphics are also dated. Command & Conquer 4 Tiberium Twilight? I'd give it a huge miss, it's not like the old versions at all, and if you're a fan of C&C you'll be very disappointed.

please don't tell that to people allow them to try it for themselves. i took the opinions of other and didn't buy until now and i thouroughly wish i got it on release.

i've played completed all the c&c games accross all difficulties and C&C4 is really good IMO i really wish people would stop ******** it off simply because you can't amass a HUGE army to roll over the opponents. C&C4 makes it more interesting simply because it requires skill and not a mass amount of units and time to win. And it was good to see the tiberium story ended. Roll on victory games and the new C&C they are planning for 2012 (see details here)http://www.commandandconquer.com/

Generals and Zero hour by far. China's soundtrack and the GLA's angry mobs make me a happy lad. USA can go screw themselves.

I could care less about army size, C+C 4 has no base building. RTS games without base building are lame.
 
My favourite was Red Alert 1, but i did like Tiberian Sun a lot and dabbled in Renegade.

I got C&C4 as it's the only one i haven't played.

To be honest.... i hate it - i'm so glad i didn't pay full price for this as i would have asked for a refund! No base building?! That's the whole point of C&C!!

I'm going to play and complete it though, no matter how rubbish it is. :mad:

yeah my flatmate is doing the same. dunno why you guys are putting yourselves through it! :confused:
 
the original generals for me.

Dont bother though if you dont have a mate to play against him on a network match.

My preference:

Red Alert 1 + Expansion packs, awesome game
Tiberian Sun + Expansion pack, another awesome C&C game
Red Alert 2 + Yuri's Revenge
C&C 1
Generals + Expansion

Word is there is a possible system re-boot for the C&C series, hardly surprising after the last outing, one thing I wish they would drop is the 3D, it's not needed for this type of game and if they did some awesome visuals it could be a re-boot worthy of the original titles.

I'd disagree (not that C&C4 sucks - as it does) Dawn of War 2 is one of my favourite RTS's, as it does away with basebuilding far better than C&C managed to.

I bought RA3 & C&C3 in the sale and they're both really fun - Generals ZH was my favourite of all C&C's though.

it's not dodgy at all on win7 64bit not long finished playing through it.:confused: [edit]actually i'm thinking of red alert 2 lol
