Best Component Store

Surprised to see the thread. Ya don't even have to ask! As long I'm in the UK and your customer service stays on point it will always be Overclockers.
 
OCUK got my vote.

Have used a couple of the other places before and although i have never had a problem with them, they just aren't good enough.

CS and the forums also had a factor in my vote.

That's true, the service is good. But other retailers have provided me equal service, the situation might of been different couple years back. But today when online shopping seems to be pretty normal most retailers keep on improving to make sure they provide the best service, rainforest and JL seem to always have the same lowest price and or sometimes a bit cheaper.

The money spent on the new website which everyone hate (inc. me), could have been saved and possibly have done bigger discounts? The 5-15% off on black Friday was a bit of a joke... :rolleyes:

You found it a joke because there was probably nothing you wanted. :)

Yet our deals mainly sold out and why do you need to tell fibs? There were plenty of deals which had far more than 15% off. :)

OcUK does things for the community like offering the 8 Pack bundle with £300 saving to only forum members, this is why we are doing well.

People complain about our prices, our webshop, yet business is growing. If our prices were so terrible, our webshop such a disaster traffic on our site would be reducing, spending customers would be reducing. Yet they are growing in both areas, so we must be getting something right. :D

Not only is OcUK growing, but we are growing whilst remaining focused on our core images, overclocking, gaming, early adopters, the best hardware, we keep growing and taking market share from competitors in this area. Our competitors are nowhere near as focused or specialist as ourselves or have such a great community. We shall remain focused, we won't be selling BBQ's, Kitchens, hair dryers, books, sex toys, garden furniture, mobile phones or contracts, we shall stay focused on PC gaming and computers in general. :)

As for black friday - the 390 and x99 bundle were great deals.
(I didn't see anything approaching them elsewhere)

Haven't bought anything from Scan, though I have free shipping via bittech forum, but they're surely better.

The support on the forums here is excellent

That's true, OcUK do every now and then a good deal like that one. But other than that they aren't the cheapest out there...that doesn't change the fact that its a great store and I only buy from elsewhere when the price difference is significantly bigger.
 
I used to buy from some of the other retailers. But RMA process has left me sour with them.

OCUK on the other hand has generally been stress free when it comes to RMA. Plus the support on here and free shipping is a nice bonus, but best is Haribo ( i didnt get any on my last order :( )

Prices are competitive. Some great deals at times. I was also one of the lucky ones to get the X99 bundle that they added after the allocated amount was sold. :D

It is this reason that i would spend my money on here even if a product was more expensive here, just because i know the after support is very good.

Same reason why i would shop electricals at John Lewis than cheaper online sites because there customer service and warranty is superb.
