whatever you thinks best and quietest and cools good
Air cooling .. except at when CPU and/or GPU are running at 100%. At up to 70% load (assuming there is not an extreme overclock) a good air cooling setup is very quiet. With water cooling the pump and water flowing is usually audible unless the very best pump is being used. Even then the pump is often just barely audible at idle. With air cooling at 30-50% and less load the fans are spinning so slow their noise level is well below normal room ambient noise level of 30dB or more. If we consider the cost difference of air vs water a very good air cooled system can be setup for less than £150-200 including case fans. If case comes with good fans and GPU has a good stock cooler, all that is needed is a good air cooler and they start at £50. Just D5 PWM pump is £120 with no fittings or reservoir.
