I know a few people who fly on the keyboard, how is beyond me though
Got a price range in mind?
I think I could go to around £25-£30. Do you need a thruster control also for flight-sims?
Thanks

Saitek Cyborg Evo is supposed to be good, ideally you'll want a stick that has throttle and rudder too, which I think it has both of.
IL2 1946 will indeed run under Vista as far as I know.
I have an X52 Pro, a set of Simped Vario Pro rudder pedals and a TrackIR all of which make flight simming an awesome experience
Well the OP didn't ask for a sim did they?
What is the exact version for the game? Just to make sure i buy the right one! What do i need to look for?
IL2 Sturmovik: 1946
Cheers
Yes, just point the extractor to the IL2 Sturmovik directory, you'll know you've got it right when the version number shows 4.09 while IL2 loads.
There's a few tweaks you can do in the games conf.ini file to make it look better too, I'll dig out some links for you in the next day or so.
While you're waiting for your joystick it's probably well worth having a watch of the training tracks to give you a head start.
Aces High II. Its free too!
