I'm going into town in a minute to buy some CDs and quite fancy getting some Foo Fighters. I used to listen to them when they released their first album but haven't bought anything other than the singles off the debut CD.

What is considered to be the best album? Anything I should watch out for with regards to copy protected discs because I want to put it onto my iPod to listen to while I'm walking to work in the mornings.

Thanks - CN

Get them ALL!

One By One is a good one that I like but loads of people hate it, the most widely acclaimed is probably There Is Nothing Left To Loose.

Are you joking?

The Colour And the Shape is the best Foo Fighters album by a considerable margin. The self-titled is pretty decent too.

Their first album - Foo Fighters is still my favourite, theyve obviously progressed a lot since then, had a fair few personnel changes and developed their songwriting but i still love pretty much every song on that record.

The Colour and the Shape was the first I heard way back when while at school, have been a big fan ever since, through all the albums. I didn't like their latest album In Your Honor much on first listen, but I grew to love it. Still, The Colour and the Shape will and forever will remain my favourite album of theirs, and more than likely, favourite album of any artist.
