Hello,

Apologies for Hi-jacking this thread, but I've been looking around for a good pair of headphones/headset for a long time. I've had enough of the gimmicks and dissapointment I hear from people, I want the truth! and I think I've heard it here.

However to be on the safe side, I will describe my position.

Im an avid gamer, so Im in real need of superb positional accuracy, sound range and clarity. I've got as much money as I want to spend basically (transfered Uni course but still got my two grand installment) so Im just in the need of knowledge really for what is best for me.

Sennheiser Orpheus

The Beyerdynamic DT770 paired with a headphone amp would be a decent combo.

Nah bin the orpheus amp and get a singlepower ES-1 made up. Should cost less than 10k if your lucky

beyer combo would be good, but if you want an azming combo then check out the sennheiser HD-650s and a graham slee solo amp. No screwing around, just go for the best combo. It sounds amazing, truly amazing, and senn use the solo to demo their headphones. Now I know why.
