Any idea when this will be available again?

Well that's a name I havn't seen in a few years :)

Fingers crossed there will be others dropping this low but with the 980Ti being EOL I wouldn't expect stocks to be replenished :( Hopefully Gibbo will be along to shine some light on the situation.

It was an end of life deal I am afraid, sorry. :(

I am pestering a distributor that has some stock left in their warehouse but at present they want to sell it to me for more than I sold these for, but I am still negotiating with them, trying my best. :)

If you guys get a bit of sag, do what I did.. buy some fishing line and wrap it around the backplate and tie it to the top of your case..mines a bit wonky, but you get the idea :p

And yes, it's a MASSIVE card. I was seriously surprised when I got it over 6 months ago. It's insanely big, lol.

Cheers I am going to check mine after hammering it for a couple of days, luckily the back lines up level with 2 sata ports on my board so if it moves I will see it.

What particular model do you have and what cooling solution to achieve those clocks?

NVM, missed the WC bit at the end oops.

What about voltage/custom bios?

I just edit the stock bioses my self, all ive done is turn up the Max power limit and TDP and set the same clock speeds on each card. I also lowered the min power limit and clock speeds for my under-clock profile to keep the card from powering up when its not needed when browsing etc.

The cards are different models, one is a EVGA SC that was on sale the other week, and one is a reference gigabyte.

For 1540mhz it needs 1.27v on the weakest card.

Its quite hard keeping these things cool, they kick out more heat and use more power than my 290x's did at much higher voltage.

Gibbo..... If you do this, next iseries i will personally bring you a pint ever hour for 4 hours if you reserve one for me.... Deal?

I have just been playing commander on BF4 and the fans ramped up so loud, something my 970 never did, I checked an all 3 were flat out, temps showed 68C on the firestorm software and the top of the card was untouchable and the heat blowing out from the side was mad. I know it's a warm day but I have never had a card get this hot before. Anyone else having the same. I still have the side off as per the picture I posted.

Mine idles at low/mid 30s with a custom fan curve.
When gaming it goes to low 60s with max fan speed set at 70%.

Have you tried overclocking, if so what's your ASIC % and max clocks?
