Previous to that Liverpool had the record with 16 goals though that was pre-premiership when you played 42 games so our records better

I thought it was 16 (which in my head I was still thinking was 'blooming mental') so when I heard it was 15 I still thought it was blooming mental but with added exclamation marks!

A very big extent though. It was very possible that they could have got themselves in the same position Leeds are with the financial problems they had prior to RA.

Evra also has the experience of taking on Ronaldo in training, I reckon it would be a good battle if they ever played against each other with different teams in a real competition. Cole hacks Ronaldo whenever he comes up against him, sure he gets some good tackles in, but on the other hand Ronaldo makes a fool of him at times. Cole hasn't been at his best in years, you can pick out games here and there were he is top drawer, but on a regular basis, no way.

With most people it's a case of 'Premiership LB A is definitely the best in the world' despite having barely seen any other LB outside of the Premiership. It's just ignorant.

Premiership wise I'd say Evra and Clichy are the two best LBs. I think Clichy is superior to Evra defensively. Clichy is outstanding 1 on 1 and rarely gets beaten and he's had some very good players in his pocket so far. He's also got the highest tackle % in the Premiership so far this season. Evra on the other hand is superior going forward. Clichy runs with the ball well but his final product isn't that great right now, where as Evra looks a threat everytime he ventures forward.

Evra does have 2 years on Clichy though.
