Best looking pc game ?

Watch Dogs with some added SweetFX. Think it looks pretty nice, some of the lighting effects are great. Will post some more in the rain tomorrow :)

see a lot of votes for the witcher 2, i've got it in my steam collection, but havent even got round to installing it yet, played witcher 1 for a couple of hours and just couldnt get into the control set up. is witcher 2 that different when it comes to combat?

its xbox controller compatible, if you feel like not being a purist that is. does get a bit button bashy though

That looks pretty nice ! Heard bad things about reflections but look good on the water , I'm intrigued to see what the rain looks like ..

Just did the level where you go outside and it starts raining last night .. I can't get over the attention to detail it's amazing !

I only just finished 2033 about 2 weeks ago so having a short break then getting fired in to Last Light. The attention to detail in 2033 was also superb.

Never played 2033 , but can vouch for last light it's probably best single player fps I've played since hl2, and I've only done a couple of hours

In terms of visuals that have taken me and blown me away, Skyrim with mods, infact, Skyrim without mods. The art style, I don't use ENB's or tonnes of mods, just updated textures. I love the ambiance the game gives off. Nothing beats hearing the wind howl as the sun sets and your atop a mountain.

Other than that, others that stick out for me are:

Tomb Raider 2013
Two Worlds II
Max Payne 3
Dragon Age Origins

I could think of many actually come to think about it. All don't have EPIC graphics, but it's the atmosphere that gets me.

If it's atmosphere you like you need to play metro last light :)

Played it, but stopped about a 3rd of the way through. Not sure why... I think it's because I got scared at one point and left it there.

Hahaha I have only played a couple of hours I hope that doesn't happen to me ! I'd have to go Play on mario kart to cheer myself up :)

I know it gets a lot of stick, but BF4 is incredibly pretty. I remember the first match I played on the NS map with the sunrise, I was absolutely blown away.

If you need convincing, check out a guy called Berdu on YT. He makes incredible montage/demo sort of things. Really well recorded and edited. They show just how incredible the game can look. You tend to miss it after playing for a while!

Otherwise, you can mod the balls of Skyrim. The Metro series is extremely atmospheric and moody. I personally like the Crysis games too, for their kind of Technopr0n style. I know it's not to everyone's taste, though.
