I don't understand why people care how much RAM their music player uses? I mean, even if you have photoshop, firefox & msn open at the same time, it's not exactly going to matter much?

A 0.6 release.What version? - I'm pretty sure that was due to a firefox memory leak which was present in the old firefox's.
Songbird is built ontop of VLC and Firefox.
Songbird has iPod build-in (plugin included with setup) support - just incase you were wondering.
