you cant beat the sound quality of any player using a kernel streaming or asio plugin. Winap and foobar both have those plugins, and im sure others do as well.

Always been a fan of Winamp ever since I discovered it. I'm interested as to how you got K-Lite Mega working. I installed it so that WMP10 could run more files, just so I could see if I prefered it to VLC. Well WMP10 ran pretty well but Winamp just went crazy, so out went K-Lite Mega/WMP10.
Cheers for that. I can't remember what I ticked either. It was only a few weeks ago, but before 5.2/5.21 so I might try again but to be honest I hardly use WMP10 so I might as well nlite WMP10 out and nlite VLC in.Simian said:I can't remember the Box's I ticked at install!... All I can remember is it was quite a lot!!!... I'm using Version 1.51 (I think) and the only problem I've found in Winamp is one of my Skins (D-Reliction) throws a flid and crashes winamp!... I just use Avalon .. no problems then!...
Granted I have upgraded winamp (to v5.21) since!!... Only wanted K-Lite for Real/Quick Alternative in one package!!..

Nice one. How did you modify this? I'd like to mess around with some of my apps to put into an nlite install. One app I want to modify is Winamp. Can you tell me exactly what you did to get from original Winamp 5.21 to your modded version? I've looked on the nlite forums and I can see the switches you need but I can't find out how to actually use them in the process you need to make them nlite ready.bledd. said:i like my stripped down winamp 5.21
