Best nvidia gpu for £100

New or second hand, whats £100 gonna get me

rest of specs are 5000+ black edition @3.00ghz and 4gb ocz platinium.

But get a ATI 4850 instead.

i have an nvidia motherboard

the new xfx matx am2! its awesome!!! and a great clocker, but i dont know what its like with ati cards i wouldnt want to try :s

You can still use ATI cards.

Get the 4850 its faster than a 8800GTX for just over 100 quid.

Its a no brainer.

8800GTS G92 and 8800GTX can be found for less than £100 on auction sites. However in the £100 region you should forget NVidia and go for a new ATI 4850.

i see the logic, but being an nvidia fanboy...... please dont slaughter me i know the 48xx series rocks nvidias socks off but id rather stick with the green camp, and i know its gay but if you saw my case, its got nvidia all over it! what the green guys got to offer?

You want a 4850 tbh, anything else and you are wasting money and getting lower performance. Rip off all the NV crap and clean your case, rid this fanboy rubbish its no good.
