Best paid jobs UK 2023

Even in a small council in Scotland head teachers are earning over 80k. I just checked a PTC for the maths department alone and it was 66k. Not bad considering you get 2 weeks off at Easter, 6-7 weeks off during summer. A week off in October and 2 weeks at Xmas. Plus a load of bank holiday Mondays.
You think people in education don't work during school holiday?

Surprised at how low the IT roles are, but I guess that covers things like support roles. Programming is a fair chunk higher.
IT is a fairly broad term. Mid level software developers would top this list but they don’t feature which makes this list a bit sus.

These look all way too low, about half of what I would expect in and around London

Agreed. Under 100k for director level seems low to me. But I guess it depends on the size of the company and the sector. I imagine in education and charity and public sector it'll be a lot lower.

Really? Director is loose title

Even in charities I work with many are on 75k+

But you're right director is a loose term.

Still those salaries seem a bit low but again my experience is skewed by my experience ironically enough.

I mean the manager I employed is on 66k. And the head of I employed is on 87k.

I'm not. IT salries seem no higher, and probably a bit lower, than what I was seeing in the early 2000's. The industry has stagnated because there is no point paying £££ when you can pay £ for someone else willing to work for less. Take inflation into account and it's a bit salary cut on average.

I think op is either jeremy hunt or one of his lackeies… anyone else with so much interest in how much someone else earns would be considered unhealthy.

Senior level Finance professionals are on £60k-£90k in London with directors and CFO's getting anywhere between £120k to £250k (depending on budgetary level and size of business their responsible for).

Senior? That's entry-level/graduate pay at banks in London:

Directors can be into the several hundred k or millions and CFOs are almost certainly into the millions (or even tens of millions in a few cases at very large companies).
