best screen for 900 quid

Just popped into local currys and they had a LE40M86BDX for £1200 which seems a bit extortionate. Ah well back to the search.

If you're watching mainly SD (ie: Sky and regular DVDs) might be worth considering a plasma. eg: The Panasonic PX70s for £700-£900...

EDIT - Just noticed you're gaming etc... Can't comment on that! Might be worth going LCD route then!

I already own a samsung but its only 32" and with moving out soon I was looking at a bigger TV, that M8 one sounds awesome so I think I have just found my self a new tele :D

m86 is full HD, over HDMI, VGA and I think also component. 40" Not 100hz though, I've yet to read why 100hz is useful, I think a LCD with quicker response time would be better.

I think just trying to put forward as a "better" feature, 50hz LCD doesn't flicker unlike CRT at the same refresh...could just be a marketing ploy.
