Best soundtracks in a game

Final Fantasy VII, Deus Ex, GTA (The Original) and Command & Conquer (the Original) are all memorable and perfectly suited to each game in turn :)

Rock and Roll racing on the Megadrive... that was the best soundtrack ever :p

Also enjoyed FF7 and GTA:SA, as mentioned the radio and it's tracks were an immense part of the atmosphere (and some of the radio chat was hilarious)

Not a PC game, but Xenon 2 on the Master System had Megablast by Bomb The Bass as the music. Great track :)

Got the wrong one there :P The final level with Ace of Spades on is pretty awesome.

Perhaps the score from Warcraft 3+ Frozen Throne? I do love the final scene, utter briliance.

Oblivion is pretty good as well and a vote for KOTOR2... cannot beat a bit of Star Wars

Forgot to mention NFSU, NFSU2 and NFSMW

nah 2 is deffinatley better :) but i agree on the nfs as well, the killradio track on no.2 is awesome

I don't know why people create these threads now. We all know the answer is...

Tony Hawks 2

this man knows what he is talking about! Millencollin - No Cigar is legendary

The original Unreal had a great atmospheric soundtrack, other than that the ones that have stuck in my head are Homeworld, the Half Life series and the opening of Red Alert.

PK!
